View Recurring Instructions

Introduction

This section allows the user to view the transactions created as recurring transactions.

The following actions can be performed on the recurring transactions:

  • Stop

  • Modify

  • Manual Release Required

  • Copy Transaction

  • View History

When the user clicks the View Recurring Instructions menu, based on user access, the transaction type is retrieved. From the menu access available for the user, the list of transaction type is fetched.  The transaction will be filtered based on the user accounts access.

For Stopping Transaction with Frequency Type as Recurring:

  • System will verify whether:

  1. The user has menu access and account access (Transaction access) to stop a transaction.

  2. The transaction to be processed is past dated transaction.

  3. All instances processed or not.

  4. The transaction has completed approval cycle.

  5. The user stopping the transaction is valid user.

  • A new screen with all the transaction entries is displayed to the user with the common and entries added details.

  • The user is required to enter stop instruction till date, which must not be past date and it should not be greater than maximum scheduling period.

  • It is possible to stop future selected instances of a recurring transaction request and view the stopped instances.

Duplicate Transaction Check

Whenever a user initiates a transaction, Finacle e-Banking will do a check to see whether the entered transaction is a duplication of the previously entered transaction during day. For performing this check, the inputs taken are:

  • Counterparty

  • Transaction Date

  • Transaction Amount

If a transaction entered by the user matches with another transaction on a particular day with respect to the above listed three parameters, then a warning message will be displayed to the user. The warning message displayed will be “Entry with same Transaction Date, Counter Party and Transaction Amount Already Exists”. However user can still continue with the transaction.

For Example:

If User U1 transfers Rs.10,000 to one of the counterparties C1 on 1st January 2012 and later on the same day, if he tries to transfer another Rs. 10,000 to the same counterparty C1 then, e-Banking application displays the warning message

This check is performed upon Modifying a transaction and Copying a transaction. While checking for duplicate transaction Finacle e-Banking will also check the transactions which are Scheduled and Waiting for approval.

  • Transaction with the below mentioned status will not be considered for duplicate transaction check.

    • Repaired
