Create Network Properties

Introduction

This option allows the bank administrator to create network property records.  Properties like the counter party region to which the network is applicable, the network priority for a transaction, the deferred days applicable for the network, the base currency for the network, the currencies allowed for the network, the transaction limit allowed for the network and the daily cut off times applicable for the network are defined for the network here.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Network

Select the network applicable from the drop-down. This is a mandatory field.

Counter Party Region

Indicate the counter party region, whether Domestic or International for which the network property needs to be defined. This is a mandatory field.

Priority

Indicate the priority to be given to the network at the time of initiation of transaction. This is a mandatory field.

Deferred Days

Indicate the number of days up to which the payment can be deferred. This is a mandatory field.

Base Currency

The base currency applicable to the network can be selected from the drop down menu. This is a mandatory field.

Currencies Allowed

Select the currencies which are supported by this network. Multiple records can be selected. This is a mandatory field.

Maximum Amount in Base Currency (INR)

The maximum transaction amount for this particular network can be defined. This is a mandatory field.

Minimum Amount in Base Currency (INR)

The minimum transaction amount for this particular network can be defined. This is a mandatory field. .

Daily Cut Off Time

Day of the Week

The days of the week are displayed.

Cut Off Time (hh:mm:ss)

The cut off time applicable to each day of the week for the selected network can be specified.
