Update Network

Introduction

This option allows the bank administrator to edit the parameters set for a particular network such as the number of retries that will be done for the network by the application, whether mandate is required for the network when used in the collection transaction, the days in the week when the network is made available and time on such days.

Navigation

• Click View/Update in the Network List screen.

• The Update Network screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Network Name

The network name is displayed. This is a non editable field.

Network Code

The network code is displayed.  This is a non editable field.

Number of retries allowed

Indicates the permissible number of retries by the application for the network.

Note:

This field is mandatory.

Number of days after which retry is not allowed

The number of days after which the retry will not be allowed by the application.

Mandate required

From the drop-down, select Yes if Mandate is required and No if it is not.  This will be applicable to collection transactions.

Daily Network Availability

Day of the Week

The days of the week are displayed.

Network Availability

From the drop-down, specify whether the network must be available on a particular day by selecting either Yes or No from the drop-down.

Start Time (hh:mm:ss)

Indicates the start time from when the network is available on a particular day of the week. The start time must be specified here in the specified format.

Note:

This field is mandatory.

End Time (hh:mm:ss)

Indicates the end time till when the network is available on a particular day of the week. The end time has to be specified here in the specified format. .
