Bank Id |
The ID of the bank for which default limit records are being created. |
Effective Transaction Type Effective transaction type is a group of individual transaction types. Limits are specified for effective transaction types. |
The effective transaction type. The type is set by the administrator using the Common Codes option. Significance: The effective transaction type can be mapped to a Limit Scheme Limit scheme is the category which determines what type of limit has to be defined for the users and corporate. It also determines the transaction types for a user for which the limits are applicable. and to multiple transaction types. One transaction type can also be mapped to multiple effective transaction types. Limits are based on the effective transaction type. |
User Entity Type |
The type of user. For example, RETUSR - Retail User, CORPUSR - Corporate User. |
Limit Currency |
The code of the currency in which the limit is set. |
Note: The screen is divided into four columns - Daily Limit, Weekly Limit, Monthly Limit and Yearly Limit. Each of these columns have the following fields. |

Enabled Flag |
Indicates if the limit is enabled for the specified period. |
Cr Lmt Amt |
The amount set as the credit limit amount. This amount will be validated for account level limits and considered only if an account number is specified. |
Dr Lmt Amt |
The amount set as the debit limit amount. |
No of Txns |
The limit set for the number of transactions for the specified period. |
Start Day |
The day or date from when the limit is effective. Note: This field is not available in the Daily Limit column. |
Note: The following fields are not part of the periodic columns. |

Limit Start Date |
The date from which the limits come into effect. |
Limit End Date |
The date on which the limits stop being effective. |

Confirm the limit details. Note: On clicking Confirm, the Limit Default Insert screen is displayed. The fields in this screen are the same as in the Limit Default Create screen. Click Insert to insert the record in the database or Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving the changes. |
