Generate Mobitoken

Introduction

This option deals with generation and download of device based mobitoken client jar by the consumer who has already registered for the device based mobitoken. The bank administrator registers the consumer for device based Mobitoken.

From the personal profile menu, the consumer selects the option ‘Download MobiToken Client’.  

The Download MobiToken Client screen is displayed with the message 'Click to get the MobiToken Authentication Client'. On clicking the  Download button, the client jar is generated and prompts for download.

A new screen  is displayed with the messages 'MobiToken Client is Successfully generated' and 'Change the extension of the file from .zip to .jar and upload into your PDA device'.  A  popup window prompting the user to download the generated jar is also displayed.

The consumer can click on Save button in the popup window to save the generated jar in the desired location.  At the time of saving the file, the consumer has to change the extension of the file from .zip to .jar and then upload into the PDA device.

If Cancel button is clicked, the MobiToken client is not downloaded and the popup window is closed. If Open button is clicked, the details of the generated client can be viewed.

On successful download of the jar file, the consumer can confirm by clicking on the Acknowledge button. The user can use the token for authentication.

The consumer cannot login for the first time with the authentication mode as PDA based Mobitoken. The bank administrator must be informed after the PDA TOKEN is generated.

When the PDA TOKEN is out of sync, the consumer will not be allowed to login. A message 'PDA Token out of sync, Please contact the Administrator' is displayed. The consumer must then download the jar again and generate the TOKEN. The bank administrator must be informed first.

Where the consumer has entered the wrong PIN and TOKEN combination, a message 'Invalid login credentials' is displayed at the time of login.

For transaction authorization, the message 'Invalid PIN and TOKEN combination' is displayed.

If the user is not yet registered for device-based Mobitoken, then on click of 'Download MobiToken Client', a message 'User is not registered for Device-Based Mobitoken. Please contact the Bank Administrator' is displayed.
