View Completed Transactions

Introduction

This menu deals with the retrieval of completed financial transactions.

The transactions with the below status are displayed:

  • Success

  • Stopped

  • Failed

  • Rejected Bill

  • Partially Complete

  • Partially Success

Users having either enquiry access or transaction access  can view the transaction.

This screen allows the retail user to search the completed transactions based on a search criteria. Using the listed completed transactions, the user also has options to copy transaction and view history of the transactions. The list can be downloaded to a file into various formats like HTML, XML, TXT and so on.

Where the transaction is stopped either partially or completely and the action has been approved, the transaction is displayed under this menu after the proc schedule for that transaction is run.

Note:

  1. Proc schedule is a batch which is run, to sort the transactions created in e-Banking, as per their transaction dates. Transactions that are scheduled, stopped entries are updated with their respective status in the relevant menus.

  2. All the Completed Transactions will be displayed to joint holders, in case of Joint Accounts, based on the Account Access.

  3. In Case of Centralized, all the payments will be processed from Host, so these records will be visible in Completed List. The Transaction limits will not be consumed for any type of transaction, this will be controlled by using limit applicability flag in transaction type definition.

Duplicate Transaction Check

Whenever a user initiates a transaction, Finacle e-Banking will do a check to see whether the entered transaction is a duplication of the previously entered transaction during day. For performing this check, the inputs taken are:

  • Counterparty

  • Transaction Date

  • Transaction Amount

If a transaction entered by the user matches with another transaction on a particular day with respect to the above listed three parameters, then a warning message will be displayed to the user. The warning message displayed will be “Entry with same Transaction Date, Counter Party and Transaction Amount Already Exists”. However user can still continue with the transaction.

For Example:

If User U1 transfers Rs.10,000 to one of the counterparties C1 on 1st January 2012 and later on the same day, if he tries to transfer another Rs. 10,000 to the same counterparty C1 then, e-Banking application displays the warning message.

This check is performed upon Copying a transaction. While checking for duplicate transaction Finacle e-Banking will also check the transactions which are Scheduled and Waiting for approval.

Note:

  • Transaction with the below mentioned status will not be considered for duplicate transaction check.

    • Repaired
