View Incomplete Transactions

Introduction

A retail user will be able to view all those transactions where the status is incomplete.

An incomplete transaction includes a transaction:

  • That was saved by the user while initiating a transfer, payment, collection or loan redraw

  • That was recalled by the user. Retail user initiated transactions may go for Relationship Manager approval. Transactions which are yet to be approved by relationship manager can be recalled by retail users.

  • That is waiting for repair. When user had sent a transaction for relationship manager approval, RM can reject the same and send it back to the user asking him/her for modification.

Note:

If the user modifies a transaction in View Incomplete Requests modification will be treated as re-submission of a transaction with no reference to the old content other than in history.

Relationship manager has to approve the transactions initiated by retail users if the transaction amount is greater than the configured amount in the currency decimal maintenance by the bank administrator.

Retail user can:

  • Select the saved/recalled/repair transaction to re-initiate it using Submit option

  • Select a transaction by clicking on reference id to view the complete details of the corresponding transaction

  • Select the record/records to modify using Modify option

  • Copy transaction using Copy Transaction option by selecting any transaction record in the list. Copied transaction will be similar to the transaction record selected.

  • View the history details for the selected transaction record using View History option. History details are applicable for records waiting for repair or recalled.

Note:

The transactions initiated by the same user will only be displayed, in case of Joint Accounts.

Duplicate Transaction Check

Whenever a user initiates a transaction, Finacle e-Banking will do a check to see whether the entered transaction is a duplication of the previously entered transaction during day. For performing this check, the inputs taken are;

  • Counterparty

  • Transaction Date

  • Transaction Amount

If a transaction entered by the user matches with another transaction on a particular day with respect to the above listed three parameters, then a warning message will be displayed to the user. The warning message displayed will be “Entry with same Transaction Date, Counter Party and Transaction Amount Already Exists”. However user can still continue with the transaction.

For Example:

If User U1 transfers Rs.10,000 to one of the counterparties C1 on 1st January 2012 and later on the same day, if he tries to transfer another Rs. 10,000 to the same counterparty C1 then, e-Banking application displays the warning message.

This check is performed upon submitting a transaction, Modifying a transaction and Copying a transaction. While checking for duplicate transaction Finacle e-Banking will also check the transactions which are Scheduled and Waiting for approval.

Note:

  • Transaction with the below mentioned status will not be considered for duplicate transaction check.
